IMG_5153...or as my kids call it, "Momma's sausage soup." Yes there's drama when they first look in the  bowl & see how colorful it is. I'm pretty sure Jackson (age 8) said, "I've had to eat disgusting things every night this week!" Once he tried it, he liked it. Sophia on the other hand. Duh-RA-MA! I should have snuck a pic of her! INGREDIENTS: 1 lb Italian Sausage 1/2 Onion (I did half slices) 1/2 Crusty Bagette (Cubed) 2 garlic cloves (pressed) 14 oz can Diced Tomato 14 oz can Navy Beans 5 cups Chicken Stock 1/2 lb Cheese Tortellini Baby Kale

Season with S & P.

DIRECTIONS: Brown sausage & onion in olive oil, add cubed crusty bread, toss it & brown it. Add 2 garlic cloves (pressed), then a reg can of diced tomato, can of navy beans. 5C chicken stock, bring to a boil & add cheese tortellini. Season with S & P. Serve up in bowls & add in a handful of baby kale.
